Pia Zadora (b. 1954) won a Golden Globe Award for her role as the vampish Kady in the 1982 film Butterfly. She also appeared in Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult (1994), Hairspray (1988) and The Lonely Lady (1983). Her Golden Globe win was not without controversy; her then-husband Meshulam Riklis financed both Butterfly and a huge publicity push with Zadora at the forefront. She won the Razzie Award for Worst New Star for the same role! Zadora later focused on recording pop vocal standards and released several records, even going on tour with Frank Sinatra. Her acting was limited to the stage and cameo appearances as herself, with the exception being her performance as the beatnik chick in Hairspray. On the Broadway stage, she has appeared in Fiddler on the Roof (1964-1972) and Crazy for You (1992-1996), among others. In 2011, she introduced a stage show that toured at various locations nationwide. Fine condition.
