Color, 8x10. The 1989 film Police Academy 6: City Under Siege follows the story of foolish
cadets taking to the streets to attempt to arrest three criminals on a spree. G.W. BAILEY (b.
1944) is an American stage and screen actor who made his debut in 1975, when he was cast in
the television movie The Runaway Barge. Since his debut, Bailey has had a successful career,
appearing in more than ninety titles over the past thirty-eight years. Some of his best
remembered roles are that of Luther Rizzo on the hit television series M*A*S*H from 1979 to
1983, his role as Thadeus Harris in the popular Police Academy films, and more recently as
Louie Provenza in the successful television show The Closer (2005-2012). Currently, Bailey
fills the role of Executive Director of the Sunshine Kid's Foundation, helping provide fun for
children and youth who have been diagnosed with cancer. An All-American football player at
Michigan State, BUBBA SMITH (1945-2011) became a successful defensive end in the
NFL. A member of the winning Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl V, he went on to play with
the Oakland Raiders and Houston Oilers. After football, Smith pursued an acting career,
portraying Moses Hightower in six Police Academy films, beginning in 1984. He also had
recurring roles on TV, including a starring one in Blue Thunder (1984-1985). He has proven
a hit in TV commercials as well, notably a series of Miller Lite beer ads. Award-winning
American actress LESLIE EASTERBROOK (b. 1949) was originally born in California, but
was adopted by a Nebraskan family, by whom she was raised. In 1976, Easterbrook made her
stage debut, appearing in an original production of California Suite at the Eugene O'Neill
Theatre. A few years later she made her stage debut with a small role in the 1980 film Just
Tell Me What You Want. Since then, she has appeared in an impressive seventy-eight more
titles, including one of her more well-known roles as Rhonda Lee in the 1980s television series
Laverne & Shirley. In 1984, Leslie Easterbrook was cast as Sgt. Callahan in the popular film
Police Academy, arguably her best known role. She has continued to reprise that role in the
sequels as well as the television series. GEORGE GAYNES (1917-2016) was an American
actor. Gaynes, who has a superb singing voice, got his start on the stage. His Broadway
premiere was the 1950 musical The Consul, with a total of seven acting credits between then
and 1974. Gaynes made his move from the Great White Way to the silver screen in 1955 as
Whitelaw Savory in One Touch of Venus and to TV in 1957 with an episode of West Point.
He has a total of over 80 movies and TV shows to his credit, including regular roles on the
soaps Search for Tomorrow and General Hospital, not to mention a role as an oversexed
soap actor in Tootsie (1981). He was also Henry Warnimont in Punky Brewster
(1984-1988). But audiences probably know his best from a role that he would probably want
to forget he ever had: oblivious Commandant Eric Lassard, which he played in Police
Academy (1984) and six of its sequels. Corners lightly creased. Some surface scratches (lightly
effecting signatures). Otherwise, fine condition.
