Country music superstar Porter Wagoner (1927-2007) began his recording in
career in 1955 and almost immediately had a No. 1 hit with "A Satisfied

popular stars and is credited with helping to popularize country music
with his appearances on behalf of the Opry and through his syndicated
Porter Wagoner Show (January 1961-January 1974). In 1967, he
introduced singer Dolly Parton on his show. Wagoner won four Grammy
awards (one with Dolly and two with the Blackwood Brothers.) He entered the
Country Music Hall of Fame in 2002. Upper portion of the "W" in Wagoner
touches postmark. Slightly rippled. Slightly soiled on verso. Fine
condition.
