the Province of/Prince Edward Island". Imprinted caption at upper margin of
verso. 10-cent Canadian stamp affixed, not postmarked. Alexander Bradshaw
Campbell (born in 1933) was Premier of Prince Edward Island from
1966-1978, when he left office to serve on the Supreme Court of the
Province. Campbell, the son of former PEI Premier Thane A. Campbell,
was, at age 33, one of the youngest Premiers ever elected in Canada. He had
entered politics in 1965, and he became the leader of the PEI Liberal
Party that year. Minor surface scratches on front. Light paper clip
impression touches one word of caption on front and the imprinted caption on
verso. Fine condition.
