TLS: "Benj Harrison", 1p, 8x10½. Indianapolis, Ind., 1900 December 26. To David A. Munro, Esq., New York. In full: "In response to the inquiry you make in your letter of December 24th, just received, I beg to say that I can probably get something ready for your February number, if it will not be needed too soon. About what time must you have the manuscript?" It is not known if Harrison wrote something for the February issue. On March 13, 1901, Benjamin Harrison died of pneumonia at the age of 67. Coincidentally, his grandfather, President William H. Harrison, had died of pneumonia sixty years earlier at 68. Folds, one vertical touches the first "r" in Harrison. Lightly creased top corners. "File" inked at upper left corner (unknown hand). Overall, fine condition.
