Convention in Cleveland, which nominated Calvin Coolidge for a full term of his
own.
Printed Announcement: "Call/for
the/Republican/National/Convention/of/1924", 4 pages, 8¼x10. At the
Republican National Convention held in Municipal Auditorium, Cleveland, Ohio,
June 10-12, 1924, President Coolidge was nominated on the first ballot,
receiving 1065 votes to Robert LaFollette's 34 and Hiram Johnson's 10. The
nomination was then made unanimous. Charles G. Dawes was nominated for Vice
President. Fragile. Foxed. Folds, 1½-inch separations at margins. Torn top
edge (all paper intact). 1-inch slash/hole at lower margins. Lightly stained at
upper margin.
