of venison.
Typed Letter Signed: "Calvin Coolidge" as 30th U.S. President,
1 page, 7x9. The White House, Washington, 1926 December 17. To Hon.
Harry S. New, The Postmaster General, Washington, D.C. In full:
"Thank you very much for the venison, which arrived in fine condition.
This is the first that has come to the White House this year and I know we
shall greatly enjoy it." Typed notes at top right and receipt stamping.
Two rust clip marks at upper left corner. Two file holes at top margin, small
soil mark at lower left corner. Irregular left edge from integral leaf's
separation from the front page.
