He signs an engraving of the White House, framed in the Gallery of History style to
21x16.
Engraving signed: "Calvin Coolidge", 5½x3¼ card. White House engraving probably signed as
President. Vice President Calvin Coolidge (1872-1933) was sworn in as 30th U.S. President at
2:47 A.M. on August 3, 1923, by his father, John Coolidge, a Justice of the Peace, at the
Coolidge family homestead in Plymouth Notch, Vermont. President Warren G. Harding had
died in San Francisco on the evening of August 2nd. Coolidge was elected to a full term in
1924, serving until March 3, 1929. He chose not to run for reelection in 1928. Fine
condition. Frame has 6 inch crack along top left front. Framed in the Gallery of History
style: 20¾x16¼.
