Publishers, 1949. Hard covers with dust jackets, contained in thick cardboard
case with printed label on front. Signed in volume 1 on limited edition page.
Copy no. 145 of 500. Russian-born chemist and Zionist CHAIM WEIZMANN
(1874-1952) was President of the World Zionist Organization (1920-1930,
1935-1946) and the first President of Israel from 1949 until his death on
November 9, 1952, just 13 months after he signed this letter. Back dust jacket
cover of volume 1 has separated. Both dust jackets unevenly toned. Pencil notes
unknown hand on flyleafs. Minor scratches to cardboard casing. Otherwise, fine
condition.
