B/w, 7¾x9¾ overall, image 7½x7¾ (one surface), mounted to 8¾x11 mat frame, not in the Gallery of History style. C.D. JACKSON was a speechwriter for presidential candidate Eisenhower in 1952. From 1953-1954, he was Special Assistant to the President for International Affairs. Jackson, a member of the U.S. Delegation to the Ninth General Assembly Session in 1954, resigned from the White House staff that year but returned in 1958 as presidential speechwriter and consultant to Eisenhower. Vertical surface crease (1-inch) at bottom of matting touches one letter. Surface nicks touch his shoulder, blank background and lapel. Lightly rippled. Overall, fine condition.
