DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER

greetings and to arrange a time to meet at Gettysburg.

his Gettysburg stationery but from Palm Desert (California), 1961 December 24.
To George Brock, Washington, D.C. In full: "Thank you for your nice card
of Christmas greeting. Mrs. Eisenhower and I both appreciated the thought of
Mrs. Brock and yourself. I am sorry that you have been ill and I hope that by
now you are feeling much better. When we return East, why don't you give my
Gettysburg office a ring: I am certain we can arrange a convenient time to have
you visit the farm. With best wishes for a fine 1962, and warm regard."

the White House and permanently moved into their Gettysburg farm, the only home
they ever owned together. Tape remnants on verso show through to blank corners
and margins. Paper clip impression at upper left.
