limited edition numbered 101 of 250 of a montage of scenes from Operation Desert
Storm.
Printed Art signed in pencil: "George Bush", "Norman
Schwarzkopf" and "Colin L. Powell". Also signed by the
artist: "M. [Michael P.] Hagel". Color, 20x26½ overall, image
14x18½ (one surface). Numbered #101 in a limited edition of 250. Hagel
has portrayed the three signers, other U.S. soldiers and airmen, and weapons
used in the first Gulf War (1991), which liberated Kuwait from Iraqi occupation
and broke the military power of Saddam Hussein's army. President GEORGE
BUSH was President, General COLIN POWELL was Chief of the Joint
Chiefs of Staff, and NORMAN SCHWARZKOPF field commander of this highly
successful military campaign. Casualties among forces in the U.S.-led coalition
were 345 dead, 1,000 wounded, remarkably light for an operation of this
