GEORGE W. BUSH
The 43rd President of the United States signs a ticket from his campaign stop in Derry, New Hampshire on September 19, 2004.
Ticket signed: "George W Bush" in black felt tip, 5¼x2½. Ticket from President George W. Bush's campaign stop on September 19, 2004, in Derry, New Hampshire. Accompanied by an unsigned 8½x11 invitation to Bush's second presidential inauguration. George W. Bush, born George Walker Bush in New Haven, Connecticut in 1946, worked on his father's successful 1988 presidential campaign, before assembling the group of partners that purchased the Texas Rangers baseball franchise in 1989. He served as managing general partner of the Texas Rangers until he was elected Governor of Texas on November 8, 1994. Bush, who became the first Governor in Texas history to be elected to consecutive four-year terms when he was re-elected in 1998, resigned on December 21, 2000, having been elected 43rd President of the U.S. Reelected on November 2, 2004, Bush is the only U.S. President to be reelected after succeeding a two-term President of the opposing political party. Bush's presidential record includes the Patriot Act and other measures to combat terrorism, his "no child left behind" education reforms, and major tax cuts. Creased and lightly worn. Otherwise, fine condition. Two items.
