GERALD FORD, WALTER MONDALE, and DAN QUAYLE
Gerald Ford, Walter Mondale and Dan Quayle sign a black and white
publicity photograph of the White House.
Photograph signed: "Gerald R. Ford", "W F Mondale"
and "Dan Quayle". B/w, 10x8. View of the White House. Gerald
FORD, the 38th President of the United States, occupied the White House
from the resignation of President Nixon (August 9, 1974) until the inauguration
of his successor, President Carter, in January 1977. Walter MONDALE was
Vice President under Carter (1977-1981), while Dan QUAYLE served as V.P.
under President Bush (1989-1993). Mondale and Quayle each sought the Presidency
itself. Quayle failed to secure the Republican nomination in 2000, while Mondale
gained the Democratic nomination in 1984 but lost the general election to
incumbent President Ronald Reagan. All three were Vice Presidents who sought the
presidency but were never elected President. Fine condition.
