Several Distinguished Guests, held at the Sheraton-Park Hotel, Washington, D.C.,
January 19, 1969. Fine condition. HARLAND SANDERS was the famed founder
of Kentucky Fried Chicken. RAYMOND SHAFER was Governor of Pennsylvania
(1967-1971). JOHN C. WHITAKER, a Washington consultant, had just been
named Nixon's Secretary to the Cabinet. LESTER MADDOX, a conservative
Democrat, was Governor of Georgia (1967-1971). EDGAR WHITCOMB was the
newly elected Governor of Indiana (1969-1973). DANIEL EVANS was Governor
of Washington (1965-1977) and later a US Senator; GERALD R. FORD of

HUGHES was Governor of New Jersey (1962-1970). Governor NELSON
ROCKEFELLER of New York (1959-1973) and his wife, MARGARETTA

lightly worn. Fine condition.
