Typescript signed: "Richard Nixon", "Carl Albert" and "Hugh Scott" 1p, 8½x13½. Photocopy of Act passed by the U.S. Congress, 1974 April 12, for the relief of the immigrant status of Flora Datiles Tabayo. The document was signed by RICHARD NIXON in ink beneath his facsimile signature as President, an office he would resign under threat of impeachment less than four months later (August 8, 1974). CARL ALBERT (D-Oklahoma), Speaker of the House of Representatives, an office he held from 1971-1977, has signed in ink above his facsimile signature. HUGH D. SCOTT JR., a Republican U.S. senator from Pennsylvania (1959-1977) was Acting President of the Senate Pro Tempore when he signed this document in pencil beneath his facsimile signature and title. Lightly creased. Folds, not at signatures. Otherwise, fine condition.
