think I can give you the short article on civil service reform you suggest by
Dec 8th; but can you tell me more definitely the length you wish and number of
words? McCain's article was excellent." Theodore Roosevelt was appointed to
the U.S. Civil Service Commission by President Harrison on May 13, 1889. He
served until 1895 when he was appointed president of the New York City Board of
Police Commissioners. Toned, lightly shaded. Slightly creased. Pinhead-size nick
at top edge.
