Philatelic Envelope signed: "Bill Clinton", 6½x3½. First day cover honoring the Arkansas Sesquicentennial (1836-1986), postmarked Little Rock, Arkansas, January 3, 1986, FIRST DAY OF ISSUE. 22-cent Arkansas statehood stamp and 3-cent Arkansas Centennial stamp (issued in 1936) affixed. Official First Day Cover of the Arkansas Sesquicentennial, numbered 99 of 100. Cachet depicts Arkansas flag and state capitol. Clinton, a native of Hope, Arkansas, made Little Rock his home while serving four terms as the state's Governor (1979-1981, 1983-1993). First elected in 1978 at the age of 32, he was the youngest Governor in the state's history. He is only the third 20th century Democrat to be reelected President; the other two were also Governors (Wilson of New Jersey, FDR of New York). Fine condition.
