You have been selected to participate in this program in recognition of your abilities and the excellent training you have received from your parents, teachers and others. A trust has been placed in you. As in any school situation, it is necessary to establish rules and regulations. In preparing these rules and regulations, it is assumed that you are a responsible individual who will adhere to the highest standard of conduct at all times. First and foremost, you are a guest of the State of Arkansas, the city of Conway, and Hendrix College and that, as a guest, you will act in the manner expected of anyone invited to share the hospitality of another. I am looking forward to meeting you personally and making your acquaintance." Accompanied by photograph, unsigned. B/w, 5x8 overall, image 4½x6½ (one surface).
