To Trooper Barry Spivey, c/o Governor's Mansion, Little Rock. In full: "I want to thank you for all of your assistance during the Energy Conference. Your help in providing the security for the entire conference and the transportation for the visiting Governors was invaluable. You set an example of true professionalism and dedication, and I appreciate all your hard work which contributed to the success of our conference. Again, thank you." Rick Lambert, an investigator in the Paula Jones case, met SPIVEY on a deserted road in the Arkansas backwoods. Spivey told him of the time Governor CLINTON reminisced about rumors of his involvement with a onetime "Penthouse Pet" who lived in Arkansas. Even though Paula Jones' sexual harassment case against President Clinton was dismissed in 1998, the President agreed to an out-of-court $850,000 settlement in 1999. Creased, else fine condition.
