District of Columbia, 1920 June 15. Appointment of John J. Drumm as "Postmaster at Cedarhurst, in the County of Nassau, State of New York." ALBERT S. BURLESON was Wilson's only Postmaster General from 1913-1921. On Long Island, Cedarhurst is just east of the Queens (New York City)-Nassau County border. Gold seal affixed at lower left with round halo outline of reaction of its mount to paper. Toned. Nicked along top edge. 1-inch vertical stain at lower right edge. Overall, fine condition.
