Economy writes to Judge Charles C. Nott, Court of Claims, Washington, D.C. In full:
"I am sorry that your interesting note of the nineteenth should have had to wait several
days for an answer. I have been absent from home for about a week, and have only just
now returned. Very I very much appreciate your thoughtful kindness in sending me your
paper on 'The Immutability of the Constitution'. I had already seen and examined it with
great interest. It seems to me an uncommonly thoughtful review; and I shall feel an even
more direct interest in its conclusions because you have been kind enough to think of me
in connection with it." A year after signing this letter, Woodrow Wilson's five volume History
