This unique piece of golf history is signed by all 25 players, from both the American and International Teams, to play the inaugural Presidents Cup in 1994. The match foursome and singles play, was held on Sept. 16 to 18, 1994, at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia and was claimed by the American Team, 20-12. This was the third-largest margin of victory in the match's history as of this biography, exceeded only in 1998, won by the International Team 20½x11½, and 2000, won by the U. S. 21½x10½. The biennial Presidents Cup  is similar to the older Ryder Cup, which pits a team from the U. S. against an international roster of players, and includes a mix of four ball, foursome and singles play. The American Team has dominated the Presidents Cup, with the International Team claiming only one win in 1998 and a tie in 2003.
