and 7 o'clock. Poincaré was a member of the French
Senate (1903-1912) when he became Prime Minister and Foreign
Minister (1912-1913). Vigorously supporting entente with Great Britain and
alliance with Russia, he was elected President of France, serving from
1913-1920, and then returned to the Senate. He again served as Prime
Minister from 1922-1924 and 1926-1929. Pinhead-size stain at bottom blank
right corner, tape remnant on verso (no show through), else fine
condition.
