Photograph signed: "Grace Kelly". Color, 10x8. A scene from Mogambo picturing Kelly as Mrs. Linda Nordley. In the film, anthropologist Donald Nordley hires Marswell to lead him into the African jungle. Along for the ride is Mrs. Nordley. Reportedly, 23-year-old Kelly carried on an off-camera romance with 51-year-old Gable that ended when the differences in their ages proved insurmountable. Grace Kelly was nominated for the 1954 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Mogambo. She won her only Oscar in 1955 for Best Actress (The Country Girl). In 1956, Kelly married Prince Rainier of Monaco. After she became Princess Grace, she signed her autograph "Grace de Monaco" but she continued to sign "Grace Kelly" on movie-related items. Princess Grace died in an automobile accident in 1982. Mounting tape remnants on verso show through slightly at corners. Otherwise, fine condition.
