Lists credits for the 1982 short documentary, The Quest for Fire Adventure, which was filmed in Canada. Orson Welles narrated the film, which co-starred Everett McGill and Chong in uncredited roles as themselve. Rae Dawn Chong (born in 1961 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada), the daughter of Tommy Chong of Cheech & Chong fame, made her acting debut in the 1974 made-for-TV movie, The Whiz Kid and the Mystery of Riverton. She would go on to star in a number of made-for-TV movies and several feature films, including Beat Street (1984), Cheech & Chong's The Corsican Brothers (1984), City Limits (1985), The Color Purple (1985), Rude Awakening (1989), Boulevard (1994), Goodbye America (1997), Dangerous Attraction (2000) and Max Havoc: Ring of Fire (2006). Chong has also made a number of guest appearances on TV shows, from Lou Grant (1980) to That's So Raven (2007), and she had recurring roles on Melrose Place (1992-1993, as Carrie Fellows), Mysterious Ways (2000-2002, as Dr. Peggy Fowler) and Wild Card (2003-2004, as Sophie Mason).
