page, 5x8. December 1975. In full: "Dear Jane: Thank you for your kind
letter. I enclose my autograph. I have your letter from last summer requesting
the same. I sent both autograph & comic strip, then. You may not have
received them. Let me know. Regards". Ralph Heimdahl (1909-1981)
was an American illustrator. His career began as a Disney Studios
Animator (1937-1940), working on films such as Pinocchio, Fantasia and Silly
Symphonies; eventually he moved to Western Publishing (1946-1979), with whom
he mostly did comic-book artwork based on Warner Bros. characters. He is best
known for his artwork in the daily and Sunday newspaper version of Bugs Bunny
(1948-1879). Slightly toned. Light surface creases. Ink notes on verso in
unknown hand. Otherwise, fine condition.
