Ransom E. Olds (1864-1950) was in the automotive industry for over 50 years. He
founded the Olds Motor Vehicle Company (now known as Oldsmobile) and the REO Motor
Car Company. He developed the stationary assembly line, a system that Henry Ford later
improved by creating a moving assembly line. The Oldsmobile Curved Dash (1901) was the
first vehicle to be mass produced. Fine condition. Framed to an overall size of
18x14.
