Ray Bradbury signs his last name in the return address of an
envelope.

area and addressed by hand to: "J. L. Pruett/505 Magnolia Lane/Clute,
Texas/77531", 7½x5½ envelope. Postmarked 1972 October 7, Beverly Hills,
California. Ray Bradbury (1920-2012) is the favorite science fiction writer
of many readers who don't normally like SF. Among his classic novels - all
these became films - are The Martian Chronicles (1950), The
Illustrated Man (1951), Fahrenheit 451 (1953) and Something Wicked
This Way Comes (1962). His Ray Bradbury Theater ran on TV
from 1985 to 1992. The Emmy-winning, Oscar-nominated writer won the Science
Fiction Writers Association's Grand Master Award (1988) and the National Book
Foundation Medal for Distinguished Contribution to American Letters (2000).
