Book signed: "Ray Bradbury", 5½x8½, 210 pages. Let's All
Kill Constance, by Ray Bradbury. NY: Harper Collins Publishers, 2003. First
edition, hardcover with dust jacket. Ray Bradbury (1920-2012) is the favorite
science fiction writer of many readers who don't normally like SF. Among his
classic novels - all these became films - are The Martian Chronicles
(1950), The Illustrated Man (1951), Fahrenheit 451 (1953) and
Something Wicked This Way Comes (1962). His Ray Bradbury
Theater ran on TV from 1985 to 1992. The Emmy-winning, Oscar-nominated
writer won the Science Fiction Writers Association's Grand Master Award
(1988) and the National Book Foundation Medal for Distinguished Contribution to
American Letters (2000). Let's All Kill Constance is not SF; it's one
of Bradbury's noir mysteries, faithful to that genre but playing with it too,
set in LA in the early 1950s. Fine condition.
