in his Colts uniform and the other as head coach of the New England Patriots
being hoisted onto the shoulders of his players. With an autograph note signed
next to his biography on verso.

Raymond Berry was born on February 27, 1933. Not playing much in his high
school or college career berry was drafted in the 20th round of the 1954 NFL
draft by the Baltimore Colts. By his second season in the NFL he was a permanent
starter for the Colts. In his career he led the league in receptions three
times. He was selected for the Pro Bowl six times. In his thirteen year
career Berry recorded only one fumble and only two dropped passes. Part of
the back to back Championship winning 1958-59 Colts, Berry played a key role
in "The Greatest Game Ever Played" with one touchdown and caught twelve passes
for 178 yards. In 1973 he was he was voted into the Pro Football Hall of
Fame. He became the head coach of the New England Patriots in 1984 and
stayed there until 1989. He took the team to Super Bowl XX which resulted in
a disappointing 46-10 loss to the Chicago bears. Ink on verso lightly smeared
