Governors Office" to Danny Franklin, Sunnyslope, Arizona. In full:
"Thank you for your letter of December 26, 1970. I appreciate your kind
thoughts. Enclosed, please find an autographed picture of myself.
Sincerely". Photograph not present. Democrat Raymond Joseph Broderick
(1914-2000) was Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania from 1967-1971. A
veteran of WWII and an attorney, Broderick was an unsuccessful candidate for the
state's governorship in 1970 before serving as a Judge on the U.S. District
Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania from 1971-1984 (he was
elevated to senior status in 1984). Slightly creased. Fine
condition.
