REAR ADMIRAL MORGAN GILES The United Kingdom Royal Navy officer signed this card that features a printed description of his prestigious honors Printed Card Signed in Ink: “Morgan Giles”. 4x2½. Printed on the card: “With/ the Compliments of/ Rear Admiral Morgan Giles,/ D.S.O., O.B.E., G.M., M.P.” Morgan Giles (1914-2013) was a military officer with the U.K. Royal Navy. He was aboard the HMS Arethusa for the Norwegian Campaign during WWII. Following the war, he continued to serve in the Navy until 1964. From 1964 to 1979, he represented the town of Winchester in Parliament. Mounting remnants on verso. Toned around edges. Otherwise, fine condition.
