In 1964 the team was jolted by the joint retirements of Frank Ramsey and Jim Loscutoff. Then there was a farewell to Tommy Heinsohn in 1965...." Red Auerbach (1917-2006) was the third winningest coach (regular season and playoffs) in NBA history. He won 1,037 games in 20 years. As Coach-GM, Auerbach led the Boston Celtics to nine NBA titles, including eight in a row (1959-1966). The NBA Coach of the Year award is named after him. Lightly creased. Fine condition.
