lower margin. Born Aaron Chwatt, Red Buttons (1919-2006) got his nickname
as an 18-year-old singing bellhop in a Bronx tavern. His TV show was a big
hit in its first season (1952), landing him on the cover of "Time" magazine.
Buttons won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for
Sayonara (1957), and nominations for the Best Supporting Actor
Oscar for Harlow (1965) and They Shoot Horses, Don't They
(1969). Lightly creased at corners. Minor surface creases (most not evident head
on). Label remnant on verso (no show through). Fine condition.
