Van Bernard Productions account at the City National Bank of Beverly Hills,
payable to Bekins Van & Storage for $8.64 to "Store Old Films".
Among Red Skelton's numerous films of the 1940s and early 1950s were
Whistling in the Dark, Dubarry Was a Lady, The Fuller Brush
Man, The Yellow Cab Man and Three Little Words (as songwriter
Harry Ruby). On his 1941-1953 radio series, Skelton developed most of his TV
characters, including Freddie the Freeloader, Clem Kadiddlehopper and
Junior, the Mean Widdle Kid. The Red Skelton Show was televised on
NBC (1951-1953, 1970-1971) and CBS (1953-1970). Light vertical fold touches the
"Re" in Red. Bank stamp touches the "R" "i" and "d" in Richard. Overall, fine
condition.
