REGGIE JACKSON
"Mr. October" signs a limited edition Upper Deck photograph for his Hall of Fame Induction Day, encased in a 10¾x8½ "Upper Deck Authenticated" portfolio.
Photograph signed: "Reggie Jackson/44" in blue felt tip. Color 10x8. Limited Edition Upper Deck photograph for Reggie Jackson's Hall of Fame Induction Day on August 1, 1993. Hand numbered: 1326/5000. With two 25-cent Lou Gehrig U.S. stamps affixed with ink stamp reading: Baseball Hall of Fame, Induction Day Station, Cooperstown New York, August 1, 1993. Encased in a 10¾x8½ "Upper Deck Authenticated" portfolio. Reggie Jackson (b. 1946) earned the nickname "Mr. October" for his World Series heroics with both the A's and Yankees. He was part of five World Championship teams, three A's and two Yankees. In 27 Fall Classic games, he amassed 10 home runs - including four in a row - 24 RBI and a .357 batting average. His very public quarrels with other Yankees, and especially manager Billy Martin, gained almost as many headlines as his heroics on the field. As one of the game's premier power hitters, he blasted 563 career round-trippers. Jackson was inducted into the Hall of Fame on August 1, 1993. Fine condition.
