A 14x11 colorized lobby card for the 1955 film, signed by stars John Agar, John Bromfield, and Lori Nelson to a fan

An apparently rising star in such war and Western films as She Wore a Yellow Ribbon (1949), handsome actor JOHN AGAR (1921-2002) was largely consigned to low budget science fiction movies after his divorce from Shirley Temple in 1949 (the 27-year-old actor had married 17-year-old Temple in 1945 after a whirlwind courtship). He later appeared in three Westerns with friend John Wayne (1969-1971) and was often sought for film and TV character roles. American actor JOHN BROMFIELD (1922-2005) was born in Indiana but went to Hollywood to be in pictures. He signed with Paramount and had his first small part at the age of 26 - Sorry, Wrong Number (1948) with Barbara Stanwyck and Burt Lancaster. After a few other not great films he stared in Revenge of the Creature (1955) that attained sci-fi "cult" status. More films in 1956-Three Bad Sisters, Crime Against Joe and Quincannon, Frontier Scout and then he turned television. Bromfield starred as Sheriff Morgan in Sheriff of Cochise for 76 episodes (1956-1958) and then Marshal Morgan for 42 episodes of U.S. Marshal (1958-1960). An outdoor enthusiast, he retired in 1960 to pursue commercial fishing and hunting - he emceed Chicago's annual Sportsman's Show in the 1980s. Actress and model LORI NELSON (1933-2020) began acting at the age of 2 in local theatre productions, and by the age of five had won the title of Little Miss America, after which she took up modeling. It was in 1950 that Nelson signed a 7-year contract with Universal-International and appeared in many movies including Bend of the River (1952), Revenge of the Creature (1955), and Hot Rod Girl (1956). She is also well0known for her role in the 1957 sitcom How to Marry a Millionaire. Nelson also appears in the movie Revenge of the Creature's sequel The Naked Monster (2005), her last role to date.
