Still from Benjamin's 1973 film Westworld. Actor/director Richard Benjamin (b. 1938) began his career on the stage, directing the London production of Barefoot in the Park (1965) and the following year, made his Broadway acting debut in The Star Spangled Girl for which he won a Theatre World Award for his performance. In 1967, he appeared with his wife, Paula Prentiss, in the TV situation comedy He and She. Benjamin made his first screen appearance in Goodbye Columbus and later appeared in such films as Catch-22 (1969), Portnoy's Complaint (1972), Westworld (1973), The Sunshine Boys (1976) and Love at First Bite (1980). He made his directorial bow with My Favor Year (1982), and continues to favor directing over acting. Toned and slightly soiled. Corners rounded. Light surface creases. Ink notes on verso in unknown hand. Otherwise, fine condition.
