Dix-", 5x3¼ card. Richard Dix (1894-1949), the rugged leading man of
many silent films made his debut in 1921. He often played the strong, silent
type in his early films, and was the hero in the modern part of DeMille's The
Ten Commandments (1923) and played an Indian in The Vanishing
American (1925). Richard Dix achieved his greatest success, a Best Actor
Oscar nomination, for Cimarron (1930) which won the Best Picture
Oscar. Lightly worn at corners. Fine condition.
