RICHARD KIEL
Shown in a still from the classic Twilight Zone episode "To Serve
Man." He signs, "Guess who's coming to dinner?"
Printed Photograph signed in Ink: "Guess who's/Coming to dinner?/ Richard
Kiel/'Kanamit'". B/w, 10x8. Shown in the classic Twilight Zone
episode "To Serve Man", holding the book of that name, which turns out to be a
cookbook. Richard Kiel (1939-2014), 7'2" tall, with unusual facial
features as the result of a hormonal condition, has been called upon to play
swamp monsters, mutants, giants, extraterrestrials, and scary humans. He played
the seemingly benevolent alien in the Twilight Zone favorite, "To
Serve Man" (1962). He was "Jaws" in the James Bond films The Spy Who Loved
Me (1977) and Moonraker (1979), and in a Bond video game. He
portrayed the dangerous "Voltaire" in the first season of TV's Wild, Wild
West (1965-1966). He titled his 2002 autobiography Making it Big in the
Movies. Fine condition.
