9¾x7¾. Richard Quine (1920-1989) turned to directing and producing. His
successful directing efforts include Bell, Book and Candle (1958) and
The World of Suzie Wong (1960). His productions include Paris When it
Sizzles (1964) and How to Murder Your Wife (1945). His life
included a large element of tragedy. Married to Oscar-nominated actress Susan
Peters, he was on the hunting trip on which she accidentally discharged a
firearm, causing her permanent paralysis. With his career on the decline,
Quine himself committed suicide. Fine condition.
