One signature on each sheet. Comic actor RICHARD "SKEETS" GALLAGHER (1891-1955) began his career as a vaudeville performer before moving to films, first in silents and later in "talkies". His film credits include The Dragon's Claw (1915), For the Love of Mike (1927), Fast Company (1929), Paramount on Parade (1930, as the Master of Ceremonies), The Road to Reno (1931), Bird of Paradise (1932), Alice in Wonderland (1933, the voice of the White Rabbit), Riptide (1934), Idiot's Delight (1939) and Three for Bedroom C (1952, his last film). British actress WENDY BARRIE (1912-1978), born Marguerite Wendy Jenkins, the goddaughter of playwright/author J.M. Barrie, who named Wendy in Peter Pan after her, made her acting debut on the British stage. Barrie appeared in both British and U.S. films, including The Private Life of Henry VIII (1933, as Jane Seymour), The Hound of the Baskervilles (1939), several films featuring "The Saint" and It Should Happen to You (1954). She also hosted three television shows, The Adventures of The Oky Doky, The Wendy Barrie Show (1949, one of TV's first talk shows) and Stars in Khaki and Blue (1952). In 1950, she briefly replaced Jean Arthur in Peter Pan at the Imperial Theatre in New York City. Polish-born actor GEORGE E. STONE (1902-1967), born George Stein, who made his film debut in 1927, appeared in a number of feature films, including Seventh Heaven (1927), Little Caesar (1931), Cimarron (1931), The Front Page (1931), 42nd Street (1933), Million Dollar Baby (1934), Guys and Dolls (1955), The Man With the Golden Arm (1955), Some Like It Hot (1959), Ocean's Eleven (1960), Pocketful of Miracles (1961) and several Boston Blackie films (as "the Runt"). His television credits include a regular stint as the court clerk on Perry Mason (1958-1962; Stone was totally blind at the time) and guest appearances on a number of series, including The Adventures of Superman (1955, 1956), M Squad (1958) and The Twilight Zone (1961). RUFE DAVIS (1908-1974) is perhaps best known to television viewers as railroad engineer Floyd Smoot on the TV series Petticoat Junction (1963-1968, 1970) and Green Acres (1965-1967). Moviegoers will remember him as Lullaby Joslin in the Three Musquiteers Westerns he did for Republic Pictures. Davis also appeared on TV's The Lone Ranger and in numerous feature films, including Some Like It Hot (1939) and Angel in My Pocket (1969) in addition to his Westerns. All pages have ink notes (unknown hand) identifying the signer and where the autograph was obtained at upper and lower margins. Gallagher's leaf is lightly stained at blank areas, shaded at blank right edge. Chipped at upper right blank corner. Barrie's page is stained at upper blank margin and at blank areas. Stone's leaf is stained at lower left margin and at blank areas at lower margin and mid-right edge. Davis' page is stained at blank right margin and at binding holes at left. Overall, fine condition.
