born on November 19, 1953 in Birmingham, Alabama. After leading the
University of Alabama to a loss in the 1973 Sugar Bowl, 1974 Orange Bowl and a
win in the 1975 Sugar Bowl, he was drafted by the New York Jets in the 1st
round of the 1976 NFL Draft. At the age of 23, Todd replaced another Alabama
legend, Joe Namath, as the New York Jets starting quarterback. He played in the
NFL for 10 seasons with the New York Jets (1976-1983) and New Orleans
Saints (1984-1985). Todd's career statistics include 124 touchdown passes,
20,610 yards passing and two playoff wins with the Jets. Fine condition.
