Signature: "Rick Wilson" 5x3. Rick Wilson (b.1950) is a retired NHL defenseman who played 4 seasons with the Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues and the Detroit Red Wings between 1973 and 1977. Drafted in the 5th round by Montreal in the 1970 NHL Amateur draft, Wilson played just one season, 21 games, with the Canadiens before he was traded to the Blues. After 2 seasons the Blues traded him to the Red Wings for Doug Grant, and Wilson retired from the NHL at the end of the 1976 season. He posts a record of 32 points in 239 games. Following his professional career, Wilson joined the coaching staffs for the New York Islanders, Los Angeles Kings and the Dallas Stars, serving as the acting head coach of the stars during the 2001 season. As coach he has one a Memorial Cup and a Stanley Cup Championship. In 2010 Wilson was hired as assistant coach of the Minnesota Wild. Pencil note (unknown hand) on verso. Fine condition.
