Dodgers. This card was issued the year following the Dodger's 1959 World Series
Win.

T.C.G. 1960 Topps Baseball Card, no. 265. Rip Repulski (1928-1993) became
the Cardinals' regular centerfielder as a rookie in 1953. Originally signed as
an amateur free agent by the Cardinals in 1947, Repulski also played for the
Philadelphia Phillies, Los Angeles Dodgers and Boston Red Sox between 1953 and
1961. A streaky power hitter, he played in over 100 games in each of his
first five seasons. He is 1956 National League All-Star, and won the 1959
World Series with the Dodgers. In his 8 years in the league, he batted .269
with 106 homeruns and 416 RBIs. Fine condition.
