Typed Document signed: "Rita Gam" in black ink, 1p, 8½x11. No place, 1952 June 23. Headed: "Release Form". In letter form to News Syndicate Co., Inc., New York, New York. Begins: "Gentlemen". In Full: "In consideration of the publicity to be given to me and which may arise herefrom, my consent is hereby irrevocably given to you, your assignees and licensees, and to the Chicago Tribune-New York News Syndicate, Inc., and its subscribers and licensees, to use my name, picture, or portrait, in publications for editorial or promotional purposes, excluding, however, commercial advertising." Actress Rita Gam (1927-2016) made her film debut in 1952's The Thief. A few of her other film credits include King of Kings (1961), Klute (1971), and Seeds of Evil (1974). Gam also appeared in several TV shows from 1950-1981. A bridesmaid at Grace Kelly's wedding to Prince Rainier of Monaco, Gam is also known for the hundreds of interviews she gave on the new Princess. She was married to director Sidney Lumet from 1949 until their divorce in 1954. Uneven right edge. Fine condition.
