Robert Cuccioli (b. 1958) was a financial consultant with E. F. Hutton
before joining the Manhattan Light Opera Company, performing Gilbert and
Sullivan and other light operas. He was Lancelot in a national road tour of
Camelot (1987), and took over the role of Javert in the
Broadway production of Les Miserables. Cuccioli's greatest role to
date, was the dual title role in the Broadway musical Jekyll & Hyde
(from 1997), for which he earned Drama Desk, Joseph Jefferson, Outer Critics
Circle and Fany Awards, and a Tony nomination. He has appeared in several TV
episodes and films, including Woody Allen's Celebrity (1998). In 2012 he
took over the starring Broadway role in Spider Man: Turn Off the
Dark. Cuccioli also released his first solo album in 2012. Slightly worn
