Photograph signed: "Robert/Fuller" in black ink. 6x4. Robert
Fuller (b. 1933) was happiest playing in Westerns, a wish fulfilled
when he starred in the TV series Laramie (1959-1963). Fuller was
also a regular on Wagon Train and made guest appearances on other
Westerns, but that genre was less popular with TV viewers by the 1970s, so
Fuller - at producer Jack Webb's urging - played a doctor on
Emergency! (1972-1978). He continued making TV guest appearances
into the new millennium, most recently with recurrent visits to Walker: Texas
Ranger (2001). Since then he has run his own ranch and been a popular draw
at fan conventions. His awards - most stemming from his Western roles =
include the Golden Boot, the Silver Spur, the Buffalo Bill Award, and
enshrinement in the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum (Oklahoma
