Robert Tristam Coffin (1892-1955) wrote 37 books - novels, essays, and especially poems -
while teaching at Wells and Bowdoin Colleges. His poems portrayed rural and seacoast life
in his native Maine. Coffin received the Pulitzer Prize in Poetry (1936) for his collection,
Strange Holiness. Toned. Worn and lightly creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
